So often times it happens that we live our lives in chains and

Dr. Terry

I specialize in trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression and Bipolar Disorder for adults, teens, and families. I also have 40 years of experience assisting people with life and job stress, men and women's issues, health issues and life transitions. My focus is wholistic, strength-based, pragmatic, genuine, and solution-focused. While helping people navigate the challenges of their lives, I have learned that a common struggle for people is to understand their identity.

Our identity is defined as the fact of being who or what we are. Yet it can also be an abstract concept defining how we perceive ourselves. This concept cannot be quantified and can consist of a set of personal traits or values. It may be affiliated with our religion, ethnicity, culture, family, friends or career. It is a powerful perceptual phenomenon that can guide our actions, goals, and aspirations.

Awakening Identity can be achieved by accessing the strengths and dreams within us. As we understand more about our internal world we begin integrating our spirit, emotion and mind. To awaken identity is an experience of being whole and a part of all around us alive and connected.

Categories of Mental Health Apps:

Although these apps can serve as valuable tools, it's important to emphasize that they are not a substitute for professional mental health treatment when it is necessary. To identify which apps or resources may be most suitable for your unique needs, it's advisable to consult with a mental health professional. Additionally, the regulatory landscape for mental health apps may have evolved, so it's prudent to stay updated with the latest information regarding app regulations.

Always keep in mind that while these resources can offer information and support, in cases of severe mental health symptoms or crises, it is absolutely critical to reach out to a mental health professional or a crisis hotline.
